The Fulton County Center for Career and Technology is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Drafting and Design Teacher to join our instructional team. This individual will inspire and prepare students for success in the fields of drafting, design, and related technical careers by delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction that incorporates both traditional drafting practices and cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and drone applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Teach students the principles and practices of drafting and design, including manual drawing, blueprint reading, and computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Provide instruction in emerging areas such as AI-assisted design, drone mapping, surveying, and 3D modeling.
  • Develop engaging, project-based lessons aligned with Pennsylvania Department of Education standards and current industry practices.
  • Train students to use industry-standard software and tools, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AI-powered design platforms.
  • Incorporate real-world projects and drone demonstrations to enhance student learning and industry relevance.
  • Assess student performance and provide individualized feedback to foster growth.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and professional classroom and lab environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and industry partners to ensure program innovation and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications (Autodesk, SolidWorks, drone pilot license, AI/tech certifications).
  • Prior teaching or training experience (4 years of industry work)
  • Knowledge of current and emerging industry standards, including AI-driven design tools and FAA drone regulations

Fulton County Center for Career and Technology is seeking a Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications Instructor to lead a hands-on vocational program for high school students in McConnellsburg, PA. This is a unique opportunity to share your real-world networking skills and help students build practical knowledge that leads directly to industry certifications and careers.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach and mentor high school students in topics like computer networking, telecommunications, system setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Guide students through hands-on labs, certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco), and real-world projects.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to keep the curriculum relevant and engaging.
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment where students can explore and grow.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in computer systems networking or a related IT field.
  • Strong practical knowledge of networking fundamentals (wired & wireless), troubleshooting, and systems setup.
  • Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
  • Teaching experience is not required — we provide training and support for passionate professionals ready to transition into education.

Preferred but not required: CompTIA, Cisco, or other IT certifications.
